Our Black Hills gold jewelry comes to you brand new, in the box with all certificates and cleaning instructions, straight from the factory. Most all of our Black Hills Gold, specifically rings and gemstone jewelry, is made to order - custom items. Many of them are cast and created as they are ordered. For this reason, we ask your patience as your beautiful item is created for you. Building jewelry takes about 7-8 days before the item can be shipped.

** If you would like to buy Black Hills Gold item and you need it fast or by a specific date, please contact us. We can advise you if the item is able to arrive in time for your special occasion or event. **

Dakota Exchange Terms Of Service:

* Full payment, including all shipping and insurance charges, is due within 7 days of purchase.

* All Google Checkout methods, major credit cards ~ Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover ~ cashiers checks, money orders and personal checks are accepted. Google Checkout is our preferred payment methods. If you are using a payment method other than Google Checkout, please let us know when it has been sent.

* Item(s) will be shipped either USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation or UPS, fully insured, within 8 business days after payment is received or the payment has cleared. This timeframe is necessary due to the high number of customized orders we receive. Delivery time, the time that your item is in transit, is additional to shipping time and completely out of our control.

* Insurance is included in the shipping & handling price of the item. We will not ship items without the appropriate insurance to protect your investment.

* We ship to US military personnel using APO and FPO addresses. We also thank you for your service to keep our country safe and free!

We ship to only to the United States and all of the US territories. We do not ship out of the US.

NO Shipping Dates:

We do not ship on weekends or holidays.

We do not ship from 12-23 to the first Monday after the 1st of the new year. This is because of the holidays and it is also a time in which we do our year end inventory.

Return Policy:

We have a 7 day return policy. If you find that your item is not as described, simply return it to us within 7 days of receipt, in the same condition that you received it, and we will gladly refund your purchase price. Returns due to buyer remorse or other like issues are required to pay a 10% restocking fee. We do not refund shipping and handling unless we made a mistake in your order.

Custom products such as rings that are sized upon request which are out of the sizes or stones offered in the listing or completely custom made to order items are not refundable. Please be sure that what you are ordering is what you truly want because we will not refund in such cases.

Shipping & Handling:

We do not charge extra for shipping and handling.

Local Pick Up

We do not have a brick and mortar store or another safe place for our customers to pick up their items in person. For this reason, we do not allow local pick up.

South Dakota State Sales Tax And Our Hospitality Program:

We are required to collect and pay state sales tax when a South Dakota resident purchases our products.
We feel this is unfair and want to encourage South Dakota buyers to purchase from us.

Our South Dakota Hospitality Program offers South Dakota buyers the same price as all other buyers. Meaning, we pick up the sales tax for you. You will pay the same price when buying our products as someone form another state.
